Graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University, Capitol Theatre School of Acting in 1999, Joanna has since performed in films, on TV and on stage in Norway, Florida and in England. Among others she appeared as Helen in the award winning production of “The Cripple of Inishmaan” by Martin McDonagh at Stageworks Theatre in Tampa, Lea in “The Immigrant” by Mark Harelik at the American Stage in St. Petersburg, Spyder in the world premiere of “Totally Wired” by Kevin Fegan at the Contact Theatre in Manchester, UK, The Child in the award winning one-woman play “The Hoarder’s Child” by Heather Jones, as Lt.Cdr. JoAnne Galloway in the Stageworks production of “A few Good men” by Aaron Sorkin, as Secretary in Tampa Rep’s production of Deb Margolin’s “Imagining Madoff.” as Sarah in Jobsite Theater’s production of Donald Margulies’ “Time Stands Still” and most recently as Jennifer in Tampa Rep's recent production of Will Eno’s “The Realistic Joneses.” Very excited to play Eleanor in this new stage challenge!
Adrian is a writer, designer, and producer with more than 15 years’ experience in the development and delivery of a broad array of innovative media productions, from award winning dramatic short film to interactive simulations, virtual environments, and video games. He has worked with major production companies in Europe, Australia, and the US across government, academic, and commercial sectors.
I am honored to be working with Joanna Sycz, Adrian Cox and Red Trombone Theatre on this inaugural journey. I am happy to once again be working with Joanna with whom I last performed in several projects and productions at Gorilla Theater. I was recently seen in the film NS404 Provenance which made its Tampa premiere In early 2018. I was last seen on stage in Lab TheaterProject’s So Long Life and in TampaRep’s The Iceman Cometh. Other memorable productions: Stageworks Theatre (multiple roles in As Bees In Honey Drown - notably Michael Stabinsky as well as the Tampa Bay premiere of Bapbomb - “Boat”); Gorilla Theatre (multiple roles in Jane Eyre, including Pilot, the dog and The Lark notably Joan’s Inquisitor). I have also been fortunate to work with Jobsite Theater; MAD Theatre and Gypsy Productions. Other Film credits include Unearthed 2004, Abscessed, Concurrent Woes, Joe Vampire and Franklin, A Symphony of Pain. Slake was “Waiting Warren” in Tampa’s inaugural The Vault of Souls. An Artistic Associate with Jobsite Theater, Amy now splits her time between Tampa and Denver, CO. Previous Jobsite shows include Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak), SILENCE! The Musical (Clarice), The Threepenny Opera (Jenny Diver), Cloud 9 (Maud/Victoria), The 39 Steps (Pamela/Annabella/Margaret), and Hay Fever (Myra). Other notable shows include Straz Center productions of Disenchanted! and Boeing, Boeing, as well as Asolo Repertory’s A Tale of Two Cities and American Stage’s RENT. In Denver, Amy has been seen in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Woman 2, Equinox Theatre), The Nance (Joanie, Edge Theater) and District Merchants (Jessica, Miners Alley).
